Sharpey Goes Out On A Win
?xml:namespace>
Phil Sharpe ended his tenure as Harrogate Railways Manager with an entertaining win away at Radcliffe Borough on Saturday.

Phil Sharpe tender his resignation stating he felt it was time to move on. His reign as Manager at The Rail was just short of 2 seasons spanning 84 competitive games 31 Wins 42 Loses and 11 Draws.

He rescued us from a poor start to the 08 – 09 Season to stave off relegation. From there he built a team that looked to be capable of a top 10 finish in the Unibond for 09 – 10. Injury and players leaving hampered our progress but a monster finish to the season left the Railway faithful with a smile on their faces.

On behalf of the Committee at Harrogate Railway we would like to thank Phil for everything he has done for the club. We wish both Phil and his lovely wife Michaela all the best for the future and know it won’t be long before he’s back at another club.
